A post-graduate in Biotechnology and Clinical Research, Shraddha was content with a job as a health reporter at India.com’s The Health Site portal but after Shraddha studied in the Part-time professional program in 2013, she was offered internship and eventually was selected in the company. She is now a full-time dance artist and focuses more on teaching. She has studied with many luminaries of dance in Gymnastics, Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop although the most memorable one for her has been studying BharatNatyam with Guru Rama Vaidyanathan for Serendipity Arts Festival in Goa - Dec 2016. She has conducted workshops and trainings for students in Mumbai, Dehradun, Jaipur, Delhi & is now the Academic Manager of Professional Dance Courses at SNDA.

Kiran - An information technology student who started dancing during college days, never thought about taking dance seriously beyond participating in Bollywood shows. After completing his Diploma in Advanced Dance Studies with The Academy of SNDA in 2013, he worked with dance educators including Ghislaine Carrara, James Morrow & Steve Rooks and also took teaching assignments with SNDA. He is a CSTD certified Ballet & Jazz teacher for preliminary programs and has travelled extensively all over India to perform, teach and choreograph. He travelled with SNDA to New York in 2016 to perform Dhrut’s first international premiere and currently works as Assistant Choreographer to Sumeet Nagdev.
Neeraj started dancing at the age of 15, but took up professional training at 18. He started learning with Bhoomika Creative Dance Centre in New Delhi and trained in Contemporary, Chhau and Gymnastics for 2 years. He came to SNDA in 2014 after applying for a 2-month scholarship and later joined SNDA at a full-time position. At 21 today, Neeraj is SNDA’s principal dancer who has performed in Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Pune, Jaipur & New York. He is currently applying at an International Dance Festival in America while preparing himself for SNDA’s newer works. He takes deep interest in Hip-Hop and body conditioning, and also mentors the Professional Dance Program students at SNDA.
Tejaswee studied Kathak for 7 years at The Mahagami Dance Gurukul in Aurangabad before moving to Mumbai. She completed her Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications while simultaneously also did her professional dance training in Contemporary dance at The Academy of SNDA and joined SNDA as a dance artist in 2015. She gradually moved to becoming Production Manager for SNDA in 2016. She has performed in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bali, New York and various other venues for SNDA’s productions. In her spare time she experiments with contemporary dance fused with Indian gestures in Heels while also enjoys teaching dance occasionally. She is currently doing her Masters in Management Studies and is keenly interested in taking up a role of a producer of arts in the near future.
Hailing from Assam, Uddipana Das is trained in the Indian classical dance form Sattriya from Sattriya Kala Kendra in Assam, where she also trained in Indian folk dance for 5 years. Uddipana first came to Mumbai in 2016 and then joined SNDA’s contemporary program. With her determination and willingness to continue dancing professionally, she made her way to SNDA’s pre-professional dance program. 6 months after joining SNDA, Uddipana joined SNDA’s operations’ team and now handles the role of Operations’ Manager at SNDA, while she still continues her training under SNDA’s Professional Dance Certification (PDC) program.
Deepika Thakkar graduated in Commerce from KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce in 2012 and is currently pursuing her Masters’ and Chartered Accountancy course. Amid her preparations for CA, Deepika recently joined SNDA in the accounts team and now holds the role of Accounts Manager. She happily balances her education with her work and effectively handles her responsibilities at SNDA. In her free time, Deepika likes to hop into Bolly-Hop class and learn some dance moves.
Tanya Prabhu, a graduate in Mass Media, shares the longest relationship with SNDA among all SNDA members. She joined SNDA as a student in 2008 while she was in school, and today independently handles the role of Marketing and Social Media Manager at SNDA. In her spare time at SNDA, Tanya likes to experiment with graphic designing and tries her skills in photography while she still continues to dance in SNDA’s level 2 Contemporary batch.
